Conçu à l'intention des PME et des particuliers (SOHO), le NVR-104V de QNAP constitue une solution de vidéosurveillance en réseau abordable et extrêmement fiable pour les tâches de surveillance et d'enregistrement à distance, et ce depuis une large gamme de caméras IP : AXIS, ACTi, Arecont, D-Link, EDIMAX, ELMO, EtroVision, GANZ, iPUX, IQeye, LevelOne, MOBOTIX, TOSHIBA, TRENDnet, VIVOTEK, and Y-CAM. Le NVR-104V prend en charge les enregistrements au format M-JPEG et MPEG-4 sur 4 canaux, et supporte un disque dur SATA haut débit (jusqu'à 1To) pour des enregistrements longue durée.
Le NVR-104V est un système autonome à plateforme Linux intégrée offrant une maintenance simplifiée et une résistance accrue aux attaques de virus comparé à un système de vidéosurveillance sur PC. Le NVR-104V enregistre activement les données vidéo transmises par diverses caméras IP – que celles-ci soient situées à proximité ou sur des sites plus éloignés – et ce sans recourir à un quelconque logiciel supplémentaire. Où que vous soyez, il vous offre également un accès à la vidéosurveillance en temps réel par le biais du web. De plus, une interface utilisateur graphique (GUI) unique en son genre fait de la gestion et de la surveillance via navigateur web un véritable jeu d'enfant - à n'importe quel moment et depuis n'importe quel emplacement.
Enfin, le NVR-104V sait également associer performances de pointe et écologie. Sa consommation électrique est inférieure à 18W.
