Le TS-419U+ incorpore un processeur Marvell 1.6GHz intégré et 512 Mo de mémoire DDRIII, avec un débit de plus de 100 Mo/sec. Le TS-419U+ fonctionne avec les disques durs SATA de 2,5 ou 3,5 pouces montés dans des plateaux à unités échangeables à chaud et comprend deux ports LAN gigabit pour paramétrages d'IP multiples et port trunking (7 modes de liaison). Le TS-419U+ est également équipé de 4 ports USB et de 2 ports 2 eSATA permettant d'étendre l'espace de stockage et de sauvegarder les données en externe.
Le TS-419U+ prend en charge les configurations de disques RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 6, 5+hot spare, single et JBOD. Les possibilités uniques d'extension de capacité RAID en ligne et de migration du niveau RAID en ligne permettent à l'utilisateur d'augmenter la capacité de stockage de la configuration RAID et de mettre à niveau le niveau RAID sans avoir besoin d'arrêter le serveur. La fonction de récupération de matrice RAID permet de protéger les données du serveur contre tout retrait accidentel des disques durs.
De plus, le TS-419U+ prend en charge les applications NAS et iSCSI de façon à offrir une solution SAN IP peu onéreuse, très flexible et efficace aux PME. Des cibles iSCSI peuvent être créées sur le NAS pour augmenter la capacité de stockage du PC ou des autres serveurs, pour définir la destination de sauvegarde des serveurs de base de données et des serveurs de courriel, etc. Le TS-419U+ peut être utilisé pour connecter d'autres périphériques iSCSI sur le réseau et pour les ajouter sous forme d'unités de disques virtuelles (VDD) de façon à augmenter la capacité de stockage du NAS.
Le TS-419U+ prend en charge un grand nombre d'applications puissantes accessibles sur Windows, Mac, Linux et UNIX. Par ailleurs, divers outils de gestion, tels que Windows Active Directory (AD), surveillance du système en temps réel, journaux d'évènements détaillés, SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol), alertes SMS instantanées, réveil sur LAN et mises sous/hors tension programmées, sont fournis pour permettre aux utilisateurs de gérer efficacement le NAS. |
