Le VS-2004L NVR VioStor prend en charge diverses fonctionnalités d’enregistrement telles que l’enregistrement programmé, l’enregistrement sur alarme de plusieurs évènements, la planification d’enregistrement d’alarme, ainsi que les enregistrements avant alarme et après alarme. L’administrateur dispose d’un outil de gestion d’évènements perfectionné lui permettant de définir les options de réaction lorsqu'un évènement survient. Le NVR VioStor propose également une recherche vidéo améliorée grâce à l’analyse vidéo intelligente (IVA), y compris la détection de mouvement, de corps étranger, d’objet manquant, des problèmes de mise au point et d’obstruction de caméra. Parmi les autres fonctionnalités de serveur exceptionnelles figurent la protection avancée des données RAID 1, l'extension de capacité RAID en ligne, la migration de niveau RAID en ligne. En outre, la configuration du NVR est très simple, en 6 étapes seulement sur l’interface web à partir du navigateur IE.
